Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lumicorp websites, including lumicorp.me and kingdomdesires.com, and your purchase and use of the Kingdom Desires digital edition. By accessing or using the site, or by making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase the edition.

Definitions

"Kingdom Desires" refers to the digital book and related content made available through Lumicorp. "Site" refers to all websites and services operated by Lumicorp. "You" refers to the individual using the Site or purchasing access.

Eligibility

To use the Site or purchase the edition, you must be at least 13 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Site on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

License to access the edition

When you purchase the Kingdom Desires edition, Lumicorp grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to read the content for your own personal use. You may not redistribute, resell, lease, sublicense, publicly display, reproduce, or create derivative works from the content. Your license does not transfer ownership of the content to you.

Accounts and access

Access to the full edition requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are intended for one individual. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account is being shared, abused, or used in violation of these Terms.

Purchases, refunds, and lifetime access

Purchases are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. The edition is offered for a one-time payment. There are no recurring charges, subscriptions, or automatic renewals. Prices are listed and charged in the currency displayed at checkout. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or other governmental charges imposed on your purchase, except for taxes on Lumicorp's income.

"Lifetime access" means access for as long as Lumicorp continues to make the edition available through the Site, without additional charges for future content updates within the edition. If you are unable to access the edition or are otherwise unsatisfied, contact hello@lumicorp.me and we will work to resolve the issue, including providing a refund where appropriate, subject to applicable law.

Intellectual property

All content in the Kingdom Desires edition, including text, images, design, code, and other materials, is owned by Lumicorp or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your purchase or use of the Site does not grant you any ownership or rights to that content beyond the limited license described above.

User conduct

You agree not to use the Site or the edition to: violate any law; infringe on the rights of others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or related systems; use automated tools to scrape, download, or copy content; share account credentials; reverse engineer any part of the Site; or engage in any activity that disrupts the service.

Disclaimers

The Kingdom Desires edition is provided for personal reading and reflection. It is not professional, financial, legal, scientific, or religious advice. The Site and the edition are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumicorp disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumicorp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or the edition. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the edition in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumicorp and its affiliates, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

Dispute resolution

If you have a concern about the Site or the edition, please contact us first at hello@lumicorp.me and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally within a reasonable time, either party may seek relief in the courts described below.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the edition at any time if you violate these Terms or if we decide to stop offering the service. You may cancel your account by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to access the edition ends, but provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after the changes means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the updated date and, where appropriate, communicated through the Site or by email.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue in full effect.

Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other written agreements between you and Lumicorp, constitute the entire agreement regarding your use of the Site and the edition.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. A waiver will be effective only if made in writing.
