Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Lumicorp ("we", "us", or "our") publishes and distributes the Kingdom Desires digital edition through lumicorp.me and kingdomdesires.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our websites, create an account, or purchase access to the edition.

Information we collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information. When you sign up, we receive your email address and any name or profile data provided through our authentication provider, WorkOS. We do not store your password.
  • Purchase information. When you buy access, our payment processor, Stripe, collects and processes your payment details. We receive a record of the transaction, including the Stripe session and customer IDs, purchase amount, currency, and status. We do not store complete payment card numbers.
  • Usage information. We may collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This helps us keep the service secure and understand how readers use the edition.
  • Communications. If you contact us by email or through the site, we keep a record of that correspondence.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and secure your access to the Kingdom Desires edition;
  • Authenticate you and keep you signed in;
  • Process purchases and deliver the content you paid for;
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues;
  • Comply with applicable laws and protect our legal rights.

Legal basis for processing

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or a similar jurisdiction, we process your personal data based on one or more of the following grounds: the necessity to perform our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating the service; your consent, where requested; and compliance with legal obligations.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you authenticated and remember your reading session. We also use browser localStorage on your device to remember your cookie-consent choice and reduced-motion preference; these values are not sent to our servers. We do not use advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but some parts of the site may not function properly without them.

Do Not Track

Because we only use essential cookies and do not track your activity across third-party sites, we do not respond to Do Not Track signals by altering data collection. We do not engage in cross-site behavioral advertising.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted service providers to operate the edition. These include WorkOS for authentication, Stripe for payments, and Vercel for database and infrastructure hosting. Each provider processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and security practices. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as long as necessary to provide the service, fulfill our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Data security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data; to receive a copy in a portable format; to object to certain processing; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children's privacy

The Kingdom Desires edition is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International data

Our servers and service providers are primarily located in the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
